Former Congressman Matt Gaetz posted several comments on social media on October 20, 2025, addressing political figures and offering clarifications regarding Stephen Miller’s role in government.

In a post at 04:09 UTC, Gaetz wrote, “Burchett is a KING”. Later that day, at 16:02 UTC, he issued a statement to clarify information about Stephen Miller: “A few points of clarification

1. Stephen Miller isn’t a Nazi

2. He also isn’t a member of the Cabinet, he’s Deputy Chief of Staff.” At 16:31 UTC, Gaetz commented on another individual, stating, “Karoline is amazing”.

Matt Gaetz has served as a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 1st district since 2017, succeeding Jeff Miller. Prior to his tenure in Congress, Gaetz was a member of the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2016. He was born in Hollywood, Florida in 1982 and currently resides in Niceville. Gaetz earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 2003 and a Juris Doctor from the College of William & Mary in 2007.
