Local Man Expected to Survive Three Stab Wounds

A Fort Walton Beach area man is recovering from three stab wounds after he was attacked at a home off Pinewood Trace Saturday evening.

The 31-year old victim was taken to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He is expected to survive.

24-year old Timothy Attaway of Dallas Texas has been charged by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

Witnesses of the attack say the victim made a joke or comment that reportedly angered Attaway, who then began a fight with the victim before pulling a knife and cutting him in several areas.
