Animal Services to host a drive-through microchip clinic

Santa Rosa County Animal Services (SRCAS) is hosting a reduced-cost microchip drive-through clinic on Wed., Dec. 7 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Santa Rosa County Animal Services, 4451 Pine Forest Road in Milton. Only cats and dogs are eligible to be microchipped and the shelter will be closed to set up and run the clinic.

For the safety of shelter staff, aggressive animals will not be eligible for microchips. Pine Forest Road in Milton will be open to residents and microchip clinic participants only from 1- 5 p.m. Please seek alternative routes, the clinic route map is linked below:

Microchips are $10 per animal, cash only. All animals must be secured in the vehicle and cats should be secured in a carrier. Microchips can take a few minutes to ensure they are properly injected and scanned. Community members wishing to participate should plan to arrive early and expect longer waits than other drive-through clinics.
