The Ocean City-Wright Fire Department will be helping Santa visit everyone in Mary Esther to see who’s been naughty and who’s been nice. If you’ve been good, be sure to watch for Santa as he visits your neighborhood to double-check his list!

Santa Claus will begin his run each of the following nights beginning at 6 PM:  

  • Thursday, December 15 – Zone 1 – Neighborhoods between Doolittle Boulevard, West to Mary Esther Drive, North to Hollywood Boulevard, South to Miracle Strip Parkway
  • Friday, December 16 – Zone 2 –  Neighborhoods between Doolittle Boulevard, East to Mary Esther Boulevard, North to Page Bacon Road, South to Miracle Strip Parkway
  • Saturday, December 17 – Zone 3 – Neighborhoods between Mary Esther Boulevard, East to Brewer Circle and Jonquil Avenue, North to Bryn Mawr Boulevard, South to Miracle Strip Parkway

Okaloosa County deputies charge woman after beer bottles thrown at child

A Fort Walton Beach area woman faces charges after allegedly throwing beer bottles at a toddler who tried to help her following a fall from her bicycle. Witnesses say quick action by the child prevented injury, and no harm was reported.
